| Preparing for Exercise | |
|
It is important to prepare your body for exercise by warming-up and stretching. Warm-up for 5-10 minutes by doing some low intensity aerobic exercise like walking or cycling. Then do some gentle stretching for 5-10 minutes. It is best to stretch all of your muscles, but at least stretch the ones that you will be using in your work-out. Always finish your work-out with a cool-down period of 5-10 minutes. This is like a warm-up you want to do some low intensity exercise to bring your heart rate back down to its normal level. |
